These terms govern your use of k-filer.com and the services you buy from K‑Filer. By placing an order you agree to them. Our registered business name and address are K-Filer, Shadman Lahore, Pakistan.
What we do
K‑Filer prepares and submits filings on your instructions. Depending on what you buy, that can include forming a US LLC, obtaining an EIN, preparing an ITIN application, arranging registered agent and US business address services, setting up payment gateways, bookkeeping, and preparing and filing tax returns and annual compliance reports.
What we are not
K‑Filer is not a law firm and not a CPA firm. We are a filing and bookkeeping service. Nothing we say or publish is legal advice or tax advice, and no attorney–client or accountant–client relationship is created by using this site or buying our services. Where your situation calls for a licensed professional, we will tell you and can help you find one.
Registered agent services are provided through licensed registered agents in the state of formation, not by K‑Filer directly.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate, complete and current information. We file what you tell us; we cannot verify it independently.
- Provide identity documents where a state, the IRS, a registered agent or a financial institution requires them.
- Respond when we ask for something. Filings stall when documents do not arrive.
- Use the company for a lawful business, and comply with the laws that apply to you where you live and where you operate.
- Meet your own ongoing obligations once we hand over, unless you have bought a package where we track them for you.
You are responsible for the consequences of information you give us that turns out to be wrong, including refiling costs and penalties.
Fees and state fees
Our package prices are one‑time fees for the work listed on the Pricing page. State filing fees are separate. They are set by the state, paid to the state, and passed on to you at cost. We confirm the exact state fee for your chosen state before charging anything, and nothing is filed until you approve the total.
Registered agent and US business address are included for the first year with every package and renew annually at the then‑current rate. We will tell you before a renewal falls due.
Prices may change, but never for an order you have already approved and paid.
Payment
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. After you submit an order we email you a secure payment link together with the exact state fee. Work begins when the payment clears. All fees are in US dollars.
Timelines
We move as soon as your documents arrive, but parts of the process are not ours to control:
- LLC formation is typically filed within one to two business days of us having what we need, subject to the state’s own processing.
- EIN runs on the IRS’s timetable. Without an SSN it follows a slower manual route, typically a few weeks. We will always give you the current realistic range.
- Bank accounts and payment gateways are opened at the sole discretion of those institutions.
Timelines we quote are good‑faith estimates, not guarantees, and delays caused by a state, the IRS or a third party are not a breach of these terms.
Third-party services
We help you apply to Stripe, PayPal, Wise, Payoneer and banks, and we prepare your details so the applications match your filings. We cannot guarantee approval — those decisions belong to the provider, and each has its own terms which you accept directly with them.
Acceptable use
You may not use K‑Filer to form or operate an entity for fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, tax evasion or any other unlawful purpose. We run the identity checks we are required to run, and we may refuse or stop work — and report it where the law requires — if we believe a request is unlawful or the information given to us is false.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. What you get back depends on how far the work has gone — see our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may stop acting for you if you do not pay, do not provide required documents, or ask us to do something we consider unlawful or outside our competence. If we do, we will tell you why and refund anything we have not yet earned.
Intellectual property
The content, design and branding of this site belong to K‑Filer. The documents we prepare for your company belong to you once paid for.
Limitation of liability
We take responsibility for doing our own work with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the services is limited to the fees you paid us for the service the claim relates to, excluding state and third‑party fees. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or penalties arising from information you gave us that was inaccurate or incomplete.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Pakistan. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have under the law of the country where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. We will email active clients about material changes.
